Associate Clinician – Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
Focus on the clinical work. BPTC provides the practice infrastructure.
Balanced Perceptions Therapy & Consulting is expanding its clinical capacity in Bundoora and is seeking an AMHSW to join BPTC as an Associate Clinician under an independent contractor arrangement. We are looking for a warm, capable and professionally independent clinician who wants the benefits of private practice without having to build the entire infrastructure alone.
BPTC actively generates suitable referrals and provides furnished rooms, Halaxy, administration, payment processing, marketing and client-enquiry support. Wednesday is the principal full-day opportunity, with additional availability Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, and Saturday afternoons. The opportunity is expected to build toward approximately 8–12 sessions per week depending on clinician availability, referrals and client demand, with capacity for further growth. No minimum caseload is guaranteed. Remuneration is 60% of professional fees to the Associate Clinician and 40% to BPTC, with statutory superannuation paid in addition where BPTC is legally required to provide it.
The role may include work with children, adolescents and adults, according to the clinician's experience, competence and professional scope. Telehealth is also available where clinically appropriate.
Current AASW membership and AMHSW accreditation are essential. Applicants must also be able to meet Medicare provider requirements, operate under an ABN, maintain appropriate professional insurance and hold a current Working with Children Check.
